Everyone starts from scratch
In 1983, Bike o' bello is founded as a mail-order company. Small brochures with a rather limited range of cycling clothing are enclosed in specialist journals. Soon, these brochures become small catalogues, increasing in volume, and the range of products rapidly extends.
With large steps towards the future
In 1992, Bike o' bello moves into the new office and logistics building with more than 2,000 m², located in St.Leon-Rot. Several specialist shops are opened to be able to even better serve the quickly growing group of customers. At this developmental stage, the already existing business segment of cyclist and triathlete clothing for teams and associations is very successfully expanded.
A pioneer in online shopping
As soon as 1997, Bike o' bello goes online via the web portal www.bobshop.de (bob being the acronym of "bike o' bello"). While numerous large companies are still discussing the advantages of this distribution channel, Bike o' bello is already initiating a new phase of expansion. The ever growing product range is extended by cycling accessories and products are sold successfully online. An overwhelming success that leads to a rapid growth of the company.

Thanks to competency in service, strict orientation towards the customer, innovative attitude and first class product quality, we are today the leading European specialist mail order and online company for cycling clothing and accessories. Through both, online business and "conventional" catalogue, we offer our clients great value: our online shop is now available in 7 different languages thus reaching cyclists worldwide. The bike o' bello catalogue currently comprises 180 pages and is issued twice a year (Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter). On an area of 7,000 m² more than 150,000 articles are kept in stock and, thanks to our state-of-the-art mail order logistics, we guarantee quick and smooth order processing.
